Virtual Presentation Guidelines
To help things run smoothly during your virtual session, here are a few friendly reminders:
Before Your Presentation
Test Your Tech: Check your internet connection, microphone, camera, and lighting at least a day in advance.
Use a Laptop/Desktop: Avoid using phones or tablets unless absolutely necessary. A stable setup improves audio/visual quality.
Find a Quiet Spot: Try to present from a quiet, well-lit space with minimal distractions in the background.
Join Early: Log into the meeting at least 15 - 20 minutes before your scheduled time so we can do a quick tech check and help with anything you need.
During Your Presentation
Be Camera-Ready: Turn your camera on while presenting if possible. It helps engage the audience.
Audio: Try to use headset or microphone can make a big difference in sound quality.
Watch the Time: Try to stay within your allotted time so everyone gets their full session.
Q&A
Use the chat or “raise hand” features to take questions during the Q&A portion. A moderator will assist in managing questions and time.
